Telemann programme in preparation
I have almost finished a long-held ambition to memorise all twelve of Telemann’s magnificent fantasias for solo flute. As a whole, they make up around an hour of music, packed with the most beautifully crafted and inventive writing for any solo instrument. Watch this space for complete performances coming in 2017 which will mark 250 years since Telemann’s death.
